Just Play!

I always had walls around "exercise." It took me back to those humiliating days in grade school when I was the clumsy kid, last chosen.
I didn't have issues on the playground though. I could play on the bars, chase boys and play hide and seek.
If I get out there and just play, be it dance, act, chase the dog, ride a bike or swing on the swings, I CAN move my body and burn calories. It's just a paradigm shift. In my mind exercise is bad, but play is fun, So I choose to laugh and play.

Get lighter? Push harder!

If you've already lost some weight but hit a plateau, you might have to work a little harder. The heavier you are, the more calories you burn in a workout. That means once you're lighter, you can do the same workout and burn fewer calories. To break a plateau, go a little longer, add something, or switch to a more vigorous exercise. You can do it!

Calories

If you burn more calories than you eat, you will lose weight. If you eat calories and don't ever burn them off, they collect and put fat on your body. Doesn't matter what type of calories they are.

Give yourself a better shot at getting your exercise done

I log my exercise first thing in the morning or early afternoon while at work. The benefit - when I get home, I am more likely to work out because I have already gotten the points and seen how many calories I burn if I do.

Move throughout the day

When I was using my Bodybugg, I found that I often burned more calories doing things like shopping, cleaning, running errands etc. than I did spending the whole day being sedentary at work and then hitting the gym for an hour.
