Cloves, Cinnamon, Folklore & Sugar War

Instead of using gum and breath mints...that have additives and various forms of sugar..I use whole cloves or a tiny piece of cinnamon bark for fresh breath. One bottle of cloves or cinnamon from a discount spice store lasts a very long time! Much less expensive than other breath products and healthier than chemicals. Additionally, there are some interesting articles written on the healing properties of these spices..maybe its not all folklore? emoticon

Not overeating at picnics

After eating a plate of food at a picnic, I pop in a piece of gum to prevent eating more food. It serves a dual purpose. Fresh breath & no overeating. :)

Fresh Breath

On days when you are having trouble keeping up with drinking water, eat a strong mint (or brush your teeth!) Water always tastes better when minty fresh breath.
