Buy the Big Salsa- Save money-Use for Chili, Too

We talk about buying things in bulk, but sometimes hesitate when there is just one in the house. Even though salsa is a GREAT condiment to use/ low cal and adds great taste, sometimes I don't use it fast enough. I CAN put it in my chili or soup to add punch and a bit of FRESH, too so there is no waste.

Batch Cook to Save Time

Once a week, try batch cooking: boil a pot of brown rice, a pot of another grain such as quinoa, a pot of beans, perhaps make some soup or chili, and chop some vegetables and fruit. Saves time during the week!
