Rich, moist coconut surrounded by a thick layer of chocolate. Whats not to like! I got these at Sam's Club after a taste test, and it blew me away! I can not believe just how good these are. And I don't have to feel guilty because I am not eating a candy bar with way more calories, fat and sugar. If you just can't cut the chocolate addiction, this is a wonderful little treat that I don't have to feel guilty enjoying every once in a while. :)
My dietician advocates I use a 40 gram, or 1.4 ounce, fruit fitness bar at 10 AM and 3 PM. I buy the same dried fruits and nuts in bulk and mix them. To make sure I don't overeat, I weigh them up on a little, inexpensive electric scale that has metric and standard weights. It keep me out of trouble.
When making snack bars like Rice Krispie Treats, substitute Fiber One for the Rice Krispies. The results are crunchy and very tasty.
I purchased some Cuisinart pots and was dismayed that they were getting stained. I searched on the net and learned that Bar Keeper's Friend for Cookware will wash the stains away without scratching them. I also pour some hot water on pots with tough stains and then sprinkle BKF, soak, & scrub.
I'm protein obsessed...don't get enough since I stopped eating meats. When I'm on the run I usually opt for a protein bar but many don't taste very good; they are usually too dense and often don't have enough protein. These bars have 20g of protein and they are DELICIOUS! You can buy at TJ.
