Track your food when you are off track

It's at least as important to track when not following your plan as when you are. Keeping records gives you the nudge to get back in gear and teaches you something about your moods and whatever else derails you. The information can help you take better control. I posted an earlier secret suggesting adding to your food favorites items that will immediately flag bumps in the road, both big and small. For example: Slept late; Skipped meal; Low mood; Ate too late.

Keep it Simple!

I've always beat myself up for failing in the past because I couldn't do it all day one. I decided this time I'm chunking this down and keeping it simple. When I get overwhelmed trying to make a bazillion changes at once, I bring it back to basics. ODAT doesn't seem like so much!

The Spark People Feed

The feed will show a lot of things -- and it may turn out to be more than you'd like to share. I limit mine a bit because otherwise it's a lot of info going out there into the ether. You may feel differently but a lil mystery is kinda nice.

Scale numbers that jump up or remain the same week after week discouraging? Print out SparkPeople Printable Measuring tape. Cut & Cover with tape. Using “Sharpie” “dot” body part measurements on tape. Date at top. A visual! My body IS CHANGING! emoticon
