I used to eat after my daughter went to bed. Hubby would make popcorn, and we'd snack. Well I put "No eating after 9pm" on my "Other Goals". Now if I want to be able to check that off every day, and work toward my Spark streak, I have to be good! It motivates me to stay on track.
I am a person who likes competition,even if it is with myself.I found I had difficulty in completing some of my team goals except for the ones that were streaks.So,I decided to put almost all of my team goals on streak"mode". And guess what happened? I'm MORE motivated than I was before!!!!
Start a "no" streak, like no chocolate or no cookies or no candy. Take it one day at a time. Don't say I will NEVER eat a chocolate again. Just say, I am trying to see how long I can go without it. I can eat one if I want to, I simply choose not to today.
