Instead of sitting down to check your SparkPeople, Facebook, or other social networking sites- take a stand! Put your computer on the counter and check it while standing! This way you will spend less time on the computer, and even less time sitting. Science has also proven that the more time we spend on our feet and off our tush, the better we will feel, and the healthier we will become. You will also find more motivation to go do something- standing will make you more aware time spent online!
I use a customizsed list similar to Flylady's for cleaning. My one requirement: MOVE MOVE MOVE MOVE!!!! I make sure I do not sit down and I don't stop moving until I done. It was 75 degrees in my house and I was sweating with a fan blowing on me. Helps me keep active AND have a clean house.
