Remember the old days before the electronics age? Kids got outside and just played. Imaginary games, hide and seek, climbing trees, what ever to keep them busy and having fun. The bonus was being active, not many obese kids back then.
The Key is to pick something FUN. That you actually LIKE to do. That will keep you coming back for more. For people who hate to work out? Try ZUMBA and get your party on! Dance like no one is watching! Music is motivating!

Nut Butters Rule!!

I love my almond butter! There are just two ingredients. Almonds and some water to make a paste. This is far better than regular peanut butter as its 100% natural with no additives. That way you know all the fat in it is the good kind. Only one problem. When you are getting to the end of the jar, it gets very hard to get out and spread as the water carrier is mostly gone. Tip: Store the jar on its side at all times and stir before taking your serving.

Keeping Bell Peppers Fresh Longer

Being single, I have to buy quantity to get a price break, but end up with too much fresh stuff to use right away. My favorite, Bell peppers, I wash first before cutting, then cut ALL of them up, making sure I have removed ALL the of the seeds. Then I wash them all again, thoroughly. Then I dry them carefully and put them into a ziplock freezer bag. I have been able to keep them in the fridge without spoiling for as long as two weeks!
