Everytime I get a shower, I moisterize with a body lotion that sits on my bathroom vanity. Its easy to remember, because its handy and has a pump. To get my daily SPF, I've begun adding a tube of 50 SPF to that bottle of lotion. I realize it's somewhat weakened, but I haven't gotten burnt yet! I believe its better than NO protection!
I try to squeeze (no pun intended) in simple squats and hold them for 30 seconds in everything I do. Blowdrying my hair, washing the sliding glass door and even while I'm waiting for my computer to start up at work in the morning. Just try it... 30 seconds or longer holding a simple squat... I do at least 6 30-second squats a day and feel it every time. Believe me, you'll be sure to feel this in your glutes the next day.
If I crave something that is not 'diet friendly' (like Ice Cream, Donuts, Pizza, Hot wings, etc), I always go out for them. That way I can be sure to have just 1 serving without the temptation of the "rest " linguring around the house to tempt me again!
On Trick or Treat night I keep a pack of gum in my pocket as I'm handing out all the "not so diet friendly" candy. It usually takes 2-3 pieces for the full 2 hours of trick-or-treating, but it keeps me from mindlessly eating from the candy bucket.
