How to Eat Potato Chips without overdoing it

I shared a small bag of chips with my 7-year old. When she took a chip to eat, THEN I had one. In this way, I didn't have more than half of the bag when I would otherwise I had 3/4 of the bag. And since chips are an infrequent thing, she can afford the small indulgence on her part.

I put dessert-y gum in my fridge

Right where I can see it if I go to the fridge for a late-night snack that's all about desire for food rather than actually needing anything. It catches my eyes, so it's a good reminder to make a better choice.
Extra gum, Key Lime Pie flavor

Make Getting Your Vitamins & Minerals a Game!

We can track any nutrients you want. Calcium, Potassium, Vitamin A, etc. The food tracker allows us to add any of this. Now, rather than going for the multi-vitamin first, I'm trying to see if I can eat foods that'll get me my Recommended Daily Allowance of nutrients I want to track. As a result, I'm eating more whole foods and I'm too full to have much space for "junk" food or foods without nutrients.
