Found a way to keep cats, dogs, squirrels, rabbits even mice and ants off my porch and yard. In a spray bottle put a cup of water, one tablespoon of vinegar, drain a 14 oz can of jalapeņos juice and one tablespoon of cayenne pepper. Spray around the bottom of plant containers, steps along edges of your porch and railings and around windowsills and your doorframe. when I have a downward spiral, you know it when it happens, instead of using my old non-effective weapon of guilting myself back into eating healthy I forgive myself. Life gets messy and if we are not willing to cut ourselves some slack every once and a while, who will? I replace the negative emotion of guilt with reminding myself that this meal's battle was lost but the war is not over and over all I'm winning. The next day I show myself tough love by exercising my heart out.
