I go to the grocery twice monthly on payday, so I buy my meat in bulk. When I get home I separate the meat into enough for each meal, add the spices, onion, sauce, or whatever the recipe calls for, place it in a freezer bag and freeze it.. Then it is ready to thaw and cook on the day I need it.
Whenever life is throwing all sorts of madness your way, turn on your radio. Sometimes a good pick me up song can put a smile on your face or maybe take you back to a happier time in your life.
When things look dim for me - as it does for all of us from time to time - I write down 10 things that are good. Sometimes it may be tough to get to 10, but if you can think of 10 good things. maybe you can think of 5 more! And life isn't so bad!
Buy the bulk pack of chicken, steaks, or fish and portion in freezer bags. When you are done, add a different spice or marinade to each one and label the bag with what flavour it is. The meat will take on more flavour, and you'll start using less!
I like to bake vegan. I just do! When you bake vegan and oil free, sometimes the top of goods can come out very dry looking! Here is a tip:
Baby Steps work.....small steps, one at a time!!!! Pick one small goal & work on that till you achieve it & make it a habit!!!! THEN......baby step 2.....pick another small goal & work on that one until you achieve it & make it a habit!! Pretty soon you will be well on your journey to a healthier lifestyle!!!! REMEMBER.....sometimes it is one step back & 2 steps forward.......BABY STEPS!!!!!!!
