I have worked out all my life, and started lifting weights when I was 18. I have kept the weight off even through having 4 kids. I do mostly weight training with some cardio but put the emphasis on strength training and HIIT, not long time cardio. Love my muscle, especially since as you start getting older you will lose it if you don't use it.
I have found this to work for me - do the workout recommended on www.alsearsmd.com - too much cardio breaks down muscle, interval training does not. You only have to do around 12 minutes to get the benefits, not hours at a time. Thank goodness for that!
If you have trouble taking supplements everyday (forgetting) my tip is what I have adopted. I have a 3 portion container and in the morning I portion out all my supplements into morning, evening and before bed. Then I can forget about when to take what and just down them all when it is time.
I remember everyday. to take them. I have a 3 portion container and I sort all my supplements for the day in the morning - breakfast, dinner, before bed. That way I have everything all done and it is easy to remember. Priorities!
Hi everyone, I have found the secret - lower the carbs and don't be afraid of the fat. Eliminate the processed carbs and most of the whole grains. Eat protein and veggies, nuts, some fruit and juice whatever you want. Works for me and I feel great and have much more energy and brain power.
