Any movement is good movement

You don't have to go to the gym for an hour to workout....If you are short on time/energy, break up your exercises....or take a relaxing walk at the end of the day. Even if it's just to the top of your driveway and back.
ANY movement is a great and positive step i the right direction. Besides, an evening walk is a great way to unwind atthe end of a hectic day.

Tart Cherry juice prevents sore joints after workouts

According to peoplespharmacy.com if you drink tart cherry juice after a workout it prevents post workout pain. It is also used to help with arthritis pain. If the juice is too "strong" , you can dilute it with water and get the same benefits from it.

It doesn't matter HOW late you eat. It's total calories for the day....

I hate to burst your bubble, but it's not how late you eat that makes you gain weight..... I'ts how many calories you have eaten.
If you eat a normal days worth of calories within a "day" and turn around and ADD more food=calories on top of that....?? THAT is where your weight gain comes from.

Go out and buy clothes in the size you WANT to be at your goal weight.

Buy a pair of pants/ dress in the size you WANT to wear at your goal weight, Hang them where you can SEE them every day.
That way you have a visual reminder of where you want to be. And it makes your goal....more REAL.

I bought The Calorie King Calorie, Fat & Carbohydrate Counter.
It is FULL of everything from candy to frozen pizza....it also has a fast food rest. section. I got mine at Barnes & noble for $8.99. Well worth the $$. It's also pretty small and fits in your purse

plan your workout time

Write down, what days you work and what days you plan on working out. If it is on paper it is more tangible, and if you miss a day, you have this big blank space where your fitness tracking SHOULD be. I started doing this, this week.... so far, so good.

In the parking lot

Before I decided I wanted to be healthier, I would always park close to the front of the parking lot. NOW, I park at the back of the lot and pick up the pace when I walk into the store.
