Hey Bread Lovers Out There

Sara Lee's Iron Kids White Bread has only 111 calories for 2 slices! I love bread and I am getting tired of the bread rounds. It is a amazing how many calories are in one slice of bread. You really have to read every label. This appears to be the lowest calorie for regular bread you can find.

Sour Cream Substitution

For those who love sour cream, but don't love the calories, use cottage cheese. Take regular, low fat or whatever cottage cheese you like and blend slightly until smooth. Use it on your baked potatoes or nachos or anything that you would typically use sour cream on. Enjoy!

You Don't Have to Change Everything

I have found that if I change to "diet" foods, low fat, no fat, low calorie, I cannot stick to the diet plan and I give up. With the SP website you can re-teach yourself to eat all of the foods that you currently eat with portion control and calorie counting. I am successfully losing a lb. a week.

Weight Loss Shakes

If you plan to go out to dinner with your spouse, try eating yogurt for breakfast and a weight loss shake for lunch. You don't use a lot of calories and you can enjoy your evening out without going over your daily allowance of calories. I do this at least once a week and I'm losing a pound a week.

Stressless Saving

I find it difficult to put a specific amount into savings each pay period. Therefore, when I get paid, I pay all of my bills, buy groceries, gas and etc. The evening before my next paycheck, I transfer the balance from checking to savings. The saving amounts will differ, but the savings grows.

A Real Eye Opener

I have been a member since June 7th, 2010 and I am trying to lose 50 pounds. I have consistently logged each and every item that I eat on a day to day basis. I was truly surprised when I saw the calorie breakdown. It opened my eyes as to where the weight gain was coming from. I had too much fat

Sign up with the grocerygame.com. I save 50% and more using the coupons in the Sunday paper. I buy 2 papers on Sunday to double my coupon savings. You get name brand merchandise as cheap or cheaper than store brands. I take the amount saved and put it in a savings account for a rainy day.
