On your nutrition tracker page, there's a link near the top to "change nutrition goals". Clicking that link takes you to a page where you can add any of dozens of nutrients for your nutrition tracker to calculate. Examples are calcium, iron, magnesium, sodium, potassium, glucose, sucrose. The additional nutrients show in the chart at the bottom of your nutrition tracker page and help you watch your daily intake.
One new thing I've found is that you can eat flavored vanilla frozen yogurt w/out the calories of toppings. Just add a drop or 2 of your favorite flavor extract. My personal favorite is almond extract. Enjoy!
www.nutritiondata.self.com has an extremely thorough nutrient listing for many foods. Enter your food name in the search box in the top right corner of the homepage. Just found it and it gives all vitamins, minerals, types of sugars, amino acids, etc. I'm excited since now I can enter complete info when I enter a custom food on SparkPeople!
When out & about, it's hard to take actual lemon juice with you to flavor water. TrueLemon packets are crystallized lemon juice and are individual-portion-sized. Just dump 1/2-1 packet in your water & you've got lemon water. Usually find it in juice aisle next to lemon juice. Helps when not near a water filter.
