I discovered that hot sauce is a great alternative to salad dressing! I love spicy and I don't like dry salad. Frank's Red Hot is 0cal. per serving and makes a delicious dressing for a salad! I've also heard that hot sauce increases your metabolism (although I'm not sure how true that is) If you like buffalo chicken salad you'll love it just cut out the blue cheese or you can use way less because the hot sauce. Warning! its highly addictive :)
On days that I don't have time to get in my work out before work I bring my daughter's portable dvd player and a change of clothes to work with me and exercise on my lunch break :D We have a back room that nobody ever uses so I have privacy and everything!
I find that when I don't want to exercise I tend to eat very carelessly also. Ahh! When you don't feel like it MAKE YOURSELF! Even just a slow paced walking video (I love Walk Away the Pounds) by the end you usually feel full of energy and even if you aren't jumping with energy you did SOMETHING and you will DEFINATELY have more energy than when you started :D YAY!
I walk to work and if I am ordering out on my lunch break I walk there too (ie subway, kampdog). Then I walk home from work. Plus Im carrying my backpack full of my work clothes, shoes, and makeup to change when I get to work (extra calories burned!) :)
