This game is perfect for days when you can't get out and walk or you don't feel well enough for a long walk. I have balance and fatigue issues that makes going for a walk by myself impossible. I can do this game anytime. This game offers something for every fitness level from full on walking to sitting in a chair to swing your arms and/or move your feet. The music is fun and you can earn points to "shop" with and build up your terrain.
I wanted to avoid temptation while I baked my son's birthday cake, so I made sure to set a low calorie flavared water in my work area. Whenever I was tempted to taste a little frosting or piece of the cake, I drank my flavored water to satisfy the sweet temptation. It worked much better than I ever expected.
I do not especially like chocolate but when my sweet tooth rears its ugly head - anything will do. To avoid getting in to an overwhelmingly deprived of sweets state - I count out 6 Tootsie Rolls in the morning. (6 tootsie rolls= 140 calories) You can chew a tootsie roll for a while so your mind feels like you ate more. I spread my tootsie rolls out throughout the afternoon when I am most tempted to look for a treat. Dum dum pops work also to switch it up. (4 dumdums=101 calories)
