Make sure you are getting enough calories to support your workouts and weight loss. Making the mistake of not getting enough everyday can cause a long plateau and frustration. It goes against common sense to eat to lose but when you realize that it works, it's so simple!!!
I hate a sore throat. You know the kind where you can't even swallow? Well I found a remedy that is both remarkably dependable and remarkably gross! Take about a cup of lukewarm water and add a tablespoon of cayenne pepper. Mix with spoon. Then gargle with it every 15 minutes.
I just got done folding laundry while sitting on my stability ball. Laundry is one chore I hate, and sitting on the ball turns it into an exercise. I felt my abs engaging whenever I reached for the clothes to fold and put in piles. A small way to work on your core!
I've found that when I watch the pie chart on my daily report, I am better able to keep my carb intake at 50% of my calories. My body works better at burning with a lower carb intake. So I try to make sure that no more than 50% of my calories come form carbs, and 25% from fats and proteins.
