Only buy what you need

Go through a recipe book and plan out what meals you are going to have for the week before you go to the grocery store. When you just make a grocery list you tend to buy the same things week after week and throw them out because you are tired of them. Spice things up. Make new recipes each week and only buy the ingredients you need to save from throwing things out and wasting money! It's a great way to try new recipes and save money!

Just DO IT!

The days you are feeling tired and don't feeling like exercising are the best days to get out there and just do it! It makes you feel so much better than you felt before, and I find I work out so much harder. It's a great way to let go of the stress from the day and focus on yourself! When you look back on your life, you aren't going to be looking back on the days you had a great nap, you'll be looking back on the days you gave it your all, so get out there and JUST DO IT!

Sip your H20 all day

I have read that water is better for you when ingested throughout the day in sips, rather than downing a glass in gulps! Fill a one litre (32oz) water bottle and sip it through breakfast all the way through lunch. Once lunch time hits it should be empty. Fill it again (another 32oz) at lunch time and sip it throughout the rest of your afternoon! There you go, all of your water in before dinner time!

Spaghetti Squash

Swap out pasta and use a spaghetti squash instead! Cooks quick in the microwave for 5 minutes or can be cooked in the oven for 45 minutes (I prefer oven)! Cook up any veggies and protein you'd usually put in a pasta, and when the squash is done, scrape it out and toss it all together! It's just as delicious as pasta, but for way less calories! emoticon

Save time and add flavour by marinating before freezing.

Buy the bulk pack of chicken, steaks, or fish and portion in freezer bags. When you are done, add a different spice or marinade to each one and label the bag with what flavour it is. The meat will take on more flavour, and you'll start using less!
