Don't buy the magazines! Take them out of the library! They don't really go "out of season" in the one month that you can't take them out. And even the ones that are a year old are still useful. Then you return them when you are done and they don't pile up!

I purchase break at a local boulangerie. It is some of the fresheds "realest" bread I have had not made by a relative. They make it right on the premises. Since I buy it in loaves, I have to cut it myself. That way I can cut it as thin (or thick) as I want. A great way to control my bread portions.

CSA to try new veggies & meet neighbors Community Support Agriculture (CSA) shares are affordable and easy to share. When I purchase a share I often get something I wouldn't buy otherwise and then I will either figure out how to use it, or swap it with a neighbor or give it to someone who wants that veggie. Makes great neighbors!!
