I am Lazy!

Yeah, I do not want to get motivated in the morning...So I have started using my cell phone as an alarm clock. My phone allows for voice recordings...I record myself saying "It is a new day get up, get motivated. This is your time to take control of yourself" For me, this works!

Only I contol my attitude

Some days I let myself get down, and then I think--Why? I don't like this feeling. So I ask my self what is the one positive thing I can find about today..no matter how small, and I use that. Did I learn something new? Is the sun shining? I have decided that today's choices were poor, therefore I won't do them again? And if all else fails, I remember that tomorrow is on it's way, and gives me full permission to restart and look up!

My Blackberry

Every appointment, every task gets entered into my blackberry. Not only do I get reminders, I can see my day or week at a glance. I put tasks that I want to get completed-such has cleaning a particular room in the house, or block time to pay bills, etc. Birthdays, anniversaries, etc, right at my finger tips.

Working all day at a desk

I did a few little things around the office--moved the printer into another room, moved the fax machine farther away. Instead of the staff bringing me my paper work I get up and get it as soon as I print. I also stopped using the intercom. If I want to speak with someone, I get up a go to their office. It made some of the staff nervous having the boss come in all the time, but it has added 1500 steps to my day, on a slow day! I also use a head set and walk back and forth during conference calls.

Me

Believing in myself...I control me, I live with my choices, and learn from them. I don't regret, I move on and improve my next choice...one day at a time.

Self Motivation

When ever I find I have had a rough day, or maybe have made bad food choices, the next morning I look in the mirror and say "Today is a new day, and like Today, it is a new me ready to make new choices"
