Just Do IT !!! Exercise increases your enegry, so get up and do it. Even if you don't feel like jogging do something like yoga, hula hoop, bellydancing, or even a 10. min. solution DVD.
I have a body bugg to keep track of calories burned. I found when I do mini sparks of marching in place for 1000 steps at a time or longer that my calorie burn stays elevated higher through out the day. I try to do 1000 per hour. Sitting I was burning 1.5 cal. per min. Marching in place makes it go up to 3.5 cal per min on average. Just get up and do it. It makes it easy to reach 10,000 steps in a day if you break it down !!!
An exercise buddy that I email daily or more frequently has turned out to be a blessing. We motivate each other by reporting the exerise dvds we do or how long or walks are. It keeps us both on track. We are both challenged by health issues, so having a buddy that works out at my level is even better. We both understand our limitations and level we are at and don't let it stop us form acheiving our goals. Together we make progress. It has inspired our family members to work out also.
I have collected many exercise and fitness DVD's and VHS for next to nothing. The Key is visiting thrift stores and video exchanges stores a few times a month. I got Slim in 6 series for $3.00 on DVD. Often there are a few unopened exercise movies that I don't have. The pickings are even better in University towns. I love having a selection of movies to pick through so I don't get board with workouts and increased my muscle confusion !!!
