Buy a digital scale to help you with food tracking!

I used to hate tracking, I thought tracking the food I eat makes me obsessed with food and makes me end up eating more, but buying a digital scale helped me A LOT. Now I am obsessed to track everything I eat.
I discovered 1200 calories a day is a lot if you eat healthy, I find myself in the evening thinking what more should I eat to reach the minimum of 1200 cal/day... so buy a scale, search the food or look on the labels to see the calories and enjoy!

Eat anything you want, but only a small portion of it.

I am not good at dieting, if something is forbidden to me, I and up eating a lot of that food after two or three days of dieting.
So I've discovered this trick, if I want to eat something I eat it, but only a small quantity of it to satisfy my appetite.
