I make a list of every single positive step I took to meet my goals every day. Even if it as small as "measured the peanut butter for my sandwich" or as big as " hit all my targets today" I document every positive step. It's easy to miss the small stuff and forget that "yes, I did do something positive today!"
Instead of looking at your restrictions or subtractions in your diet as a no-go-zone, remember that those potato chips or that chocolate will still be there weeks, months, years from now! There is no need to shovel it all down now!
Huge vase w/ a teeny tiny opening? Can't get a sponge in there much less your hand? But it is so big a test tube brush won't cut it? Fill with warm water, drop a denture tablet in, swish around & let the fizzy clean the inside of your vase. Let sit then swish & empty. Easy, non toxic, & handy.
Before my hubby leaves for work in the morning, I always tell him, "I'm going to yoga tonight" or "I'm going for a run after work." Once I've told him, I've committed in my mind to going. I know he's going to ask me how it was when I get home, and I don't want to say, "Oh, I ended up not doing it." So, tell somebody your exercise plans for the day--a spouse, coworker, or friend! And have them ask you about it!
