Dry brush your skin & you will see something powdery coming off your skin as you brush,cystals of uric acid and other dried waste products, that come out in perspiration. Your brushing motion should be circular, from the hands & feet toward the heart. You need to use enough pressure to turn the skin slightly pink. Your skin is your third kidney & is part of the body's elimination system. Sweat will help detox your body. If you r itchy, dry brush daily, it helps. Eat raw veggies to detox.
Nothing changes if nothing changes! It doesn't matter if it is a food or an exercise, I am a creature of habit. When I decided I wanted to be healthy it meant learning new habits. There are hundreds of tips and I just had to start with one (like taking the stairs, parking further away, choosing an apple, trying a fitness class). One thing lead to many so now I have tried snow shoeing and a zumba class and ate quinoa! Healthy choices that had to start with ONE!
I have days that all I want to do is sit on the couch. But I see my biggest motivation, my 4 year old daughter dancing away without music, yelling at me "dance with me mommy, dance with me". Seeing her have so much fun, all I can do is get up and dance. She is a blessing.
Whenever I backslide, goof up, or just generally fail, instead of saying "I Quit" I stop and forgive myself. Then I remember why I started this in the first place, and continue where I left off. We can forgive others, right? Why not ourselves.
This is an oil sprayer. I have bought two of them now, at only $9.99 each. I could have bought another brand, but I tried Misto and was VERY impressed with th epump sprayer! It is even better than some aerosol can oil sprayers I have bought! It is so amazing! AND------- you will help the environment! You can also put your own oils in it! I have toasted sesame seed oil in one can, and good 'ol olive oil in another! Any oil, always just like your regular "fat free" cooking spray!
My daughter likes to be rocked to sleep. While I'm holding her I will sit on the couch or cross my legs and use my core to move back and forth. You can do this without a child though Just remember to let your abs do all the work to lift you forward and rock you backwards.
Every time I say the words "I'm losing weight" it gives me an inner feeling of accomplishment and encouragement to continue. A Side benefit is that people around me don't question it when I pass up a food they think I should try.
