Getting Extra Veggies

I take care of a special need adult, she has a multitude of medical and physical problems, and she will usually eat anything, but Veggies was a hard one, she wouldn't try anything new. I found a way to get her to eat more.
We play a game in the store. Every week we go to get groceries, she gets to pick one new veggie to try, and if she picks one with out too much fuss, she can watch an hour of her favourite video when she gets home.

Getting Organized

I had a huge problem with organizing, and then I hired a professional organizer and she gave me a tip that is actually working for me.. After getting organized,when you bring some thing new into the house, eg..lamp, clothes, books, videos what have you, then one item must leave the house..It is a simple little rule but it actually works wonders, so now I have a box beside the door, and when I bring some thing new in, I take some thing else and put it in the box for donations..

Tasty way to Cut Calories and Fat

Switching this simple meat will help you lose weight and cut out fat..I have taken all recipes that call for ground beef and substituted it for ground chicken, or turkey, and some times ground pork, you really can't taste the difference. emoticon

Do Something Anything

Just getting up off the couch/bed what ever is some thing. Just get up and do some thing, even if it is just walking to the post office or to the corner and back, it is at least some thing and better than sitting there and doing nothing
