Asparagus and fresh parsley! These are natural diuretics and they work wonders. I especially fresh asparagus grilled (just have to put it opposite the grill grid, lol). I like the flat leaf parsley better than the curly, much more flavor. Put it on & in everything!
I keep special treats away from the main food storage ~ a bag of Dove Chocolates in a dresser drawer. This way I have to make a conscious decision to have a treat. Mindless gobbling is NOT an option! I also make sure I track when I have one, usually 2-3 times a week.
