Points to Pennies

For every spark point you earn, put 1 penny in a jar. At the end of the month you hopefully will have lots of pennies. They add up! And it will motivate you to be more active on he site!

Get Rid of Your "Fat" Clothes

Once you go down a size, pack up your larger clothes and donate them to charity or bring them to a resale shop or give them away...whatever! If you do not have a fall back plan of bigger clothes you know you cannot gain the weight back without buying new larger sized clothes. If that doesn't keep you motivated to stay thin, nothing will. Who wants to buy BIGGER clothes?

Quickest Way to Get Back on Track

Keep on Sparking! Don't stop even if you are not eating right or exercising! By getting your points, reading other people's journeys, and reading articles you will eventually get back on track then if you don't log on and get inspired by others!

Holding water?

Asparagus and fresh parsley! These are natural diuretics and they work wonders. I especially fresh asparagus grilled (just have to put it opposite the grill grid, lol). I like the flat leaf parsley better than the curly, much more flavor. Put it on & in everything!

Special Treat Portion Control ~ Binge Reduction

I keep special treats away from the main food storage ~ a bag of Dove Chocolates in a dresser drawer. This way I have to make a conscious decision to have a treat. Mindless gobbling is NOT an option! I also make sure I track when I have one, usually 2-3 times a week.
