Just like the importance of our bodies being flexible in order to deal with the day to day movements, it's also important to be flexible with plans and tasks. Life happens. You need to look at everything that comes up and decide that nothing that happens is good or bad. It just is.
Exercise can have an immediate effect on insulin levels and can even reduce insulin levels in as little as 15 minutes a day. 15 minutes of high-intensity exercise is needed to reduce blood-sugar levels.

Just as toxins in food are bad for you, so are toxic (negative and unkind) people. My daughter recently said it best on her FB page before unfriending some very unkind people: "I'm making some changes in my live, and if you don't hear from me, one of those changes might be you." To become and stay positive, make a conscious effort to seek out positive people and things that will make you feel good and put a smile on your face. Be kind to others and be kind yourself.
I came home for lunch STARVING and sat down to inhale my lunch. I played a little trick on myself and didn't eat my salad with a fork...I ate with chopsticks!! That sure slowed me down enough to taste my food rather that glut it down and also gave my body the time it needed to register satiety. I might just eat with chopsticks from now on LOL
On mornings when I know I'm going to be rushed, the night before I will put EVERYTHING out. For example, if I want to have a fried egg on an english muffin with laughing cow cheese (a favorite breakfast of mine), I'll put out the small fry pan and in it I will put the PAM spray and a spatula. Then I will get a small plastic container and place one egg, one wedge of cheese, and my english muffin (after I slice it).
