Sweet coffee !

If everyone is having something sweet i fix me a cup of coffee with 1 or 2 packets of real sugar in it and a little cream. Helps me and i feel i got a treat for under 30 calories ! emoticon

Tasty Low Calorie Salad Dressing

I'm really picky about my salad dressing, but I found a new one "Follow Your Heart" Low Fat Ranch, which works great! It's only 25 calories for 2 tbsp and it is very tasty. It's a bit thin, but the flavor is full and I find I use way less calories than before. Plus there's no cholesterol.

Cheater's Cupcake

To make a most decadent cupcake without the calories and fat, select your favorite cake mix and add a 15 oz. can of pumpkin and 1/4 cup of water to it. Bake as the package instructs and you will have cupcakes so moist and gooey you will not need frosting! Good with chocolate, and especially spice flavored mix! emoticon

Flip flops for showering

I always keep a pair of dollar store flip flops in my gym bag so I can wear them when I shower at the gym. That way I don't risk getting athlete's foot among other things.

Figure out what you are hungry for - it might not be food

Hunger isn't necessarily for food!

When I am tired, I am hungry for sleep.
When I am thirsty, I am hungry for liquids.
When I am feeling down, I'm hungry for support.
When I am feeling lonely, I'm hungry for people.

Don't eat food when you need friends, or fluids, or sleep!!! Recognize what your hunger actually is for, and satisfy it with what it is craving.

Ice cream rarely gives you extra sleep, quenches your thirst, or gives you a hug!

Be Totally Honest when Tracking

Be totally honest when tracking your food. Weight out/Measure your food - don't think you are fooling your body, just because you enter lesser amounts on the nutritional tracking. Your body knows what you eat and what you exercise.

Hot Lemonade

I love coffee but am not a tea drinker and know it's not a great idea to drink coffee right before bed but I do love a hot drink in the evening so I came up with a caffeine free alternative. I squeeze out the juice of a lemon (a Meyer lemon is best if you can find it). I add boiling water and calorie free sweetener. This hot lemonade is very satisfying on a cold winter night.
