I plan all my meals in advance, but I always plan to ONLY JUST eat into my calorie range for the day. That way, if there are treats in the staffroom, I know if I give in, I won't have gone over. And if I resist, I can have a slightly larger dinner!
I keep a journal purely to record anything good I did that day-whether it's fitness related (managed 10 press ups!) Nutritional (stayed within goals) or anything else (didn't lose my cool). Being able to look back on these positives keeps me going on bad days!
Chewing! I just saw the Sparkpeople article about this and I couldn't agree more. Making sure I take time over at least one meal a day, and throughly chewing my food means that I enjoy it more, I take longer to eat it and I actually feel FULL when I've finished.
