Record your insulin use

Checking your blood glucose and recording the results can help tell you how well your insulin is working.
Your doctor needs to look at your blood glucose results and your record of insulin doses. Ask about when your insulin starts to work, when it works hardest and how long it lasts.
Look for patterns of high and low blood glucose then make adjustments so that you are within the target range most of the time.

Diabetic? You should take extra precautions when driving.

Check your blood glucose before you go out and at least every 4 hours after.
Take you blood glucose testing supplies with you, along with a fast-acting sugar source in case you go low.
While you are driving if you feel that you have low blood glucose, stop the car, treat the low and wait 45 - 60 minutes before driving again.

Buying paint on sale.

Take advantage of paint sales when they happen since it is expensive to buy good quality paint at a regular price. Buy it when it is on sale but don't have it tinted! You can always go back and have the color added after therefore not ending up with cans of colored paint that you didn't use.

Rather than slathering ketchup and mayo onto your burger, pile it high with spinach, tomatoes and onions. Add vitamins and minerals instead of empty calories.
