Having a workout buddy can be fun and useful, but there will come a day when they are unavailable. Don't count on them to drag your butt to the workouts; rely on yourself.
It takes sweat, hard work, and diet to lose weight and maintain it. It's a learning experience and a life change. If you don't change the habits that made you gain weight, then you'll gain it again.
Put those shoes on and just start working out. Before you know it, you'll be done and then you don't have to worry about it the rest of the day.
