I find that pre-planning your meals with food items you have in your home doesn't just help you maintain your caloric and nutritional intake. It also helps you learn about the foods you bring into your home so you know which ones you'll be buying more frequently and which ones you need to start buying. This has helped me lose 30+lbs so far
I used to find myself fighting for time to get to the gym until I learned that even the simplest things can burn some SERIOUS calories. How long do you usually spend cleaning your house? For me, with a toddler, baby, and a very messy husband, I find myself cleaning for 2-3hours at a time. I burn a little over 245 calories an hour just moving around the house, and that's just basic cleaning. Pick up the pace and that number goes up more.

My secret to successful weight loss is changing my lifestyle with The Full Plate Diet. No foods are restricted as long as each day I eat correct serving sizes, eat my veggies and fruits first, work up to goal of 40g of fiber, drink at least eight 8-ounce glasses of water, and do some kind of activity for at least 30 minutes each day. It's not hard and once you get the "habits" down, it's easy to not yo-yo.
