To-DONE List

When using a "to do list" make sure to "check off" your accomplishments instead of erasing or scratching them out. That way instead of seeing all the things you didn't get done, you can feel good about all the things you DID achieve.

Vision Collage

I made my vision collage yesterday and was trying to think of a way to keep the vision fresh. So, I took a picture with my iPhone, and made it my wallpaper. Now I can keep it with me all the time!

Healthy Drinking- 8 a day the easy way

I keep a pitcher of water in the refrigerator, which stores my 8-a-day. It's easier to track because I can visually see how much more water I have left. Plus, I have a horrible memory so sometimes I forget which glass I am on.
I got a new pitcher for Christmas that has an insert in the middle that I put sliced lemons, limes or oranges into- depending on what I have on hand. (I don't like plain water as much.)
When I was working, I would fill up a thermos to use while I was away to keep track.

I don't buy gift tags anymore

You know all of those little scraps of wrapping paper that inevitably get cut off the roll when you are wrapping presents? Instead of throwing them away, cut a little rectangle, fold it in half and write the "To:" and "From:" on the inside and secure it with a piece of tape. Brilliant!
