I purchased Natural Iced Tea (very sweet like Southern sweet tea) and Fruit Punch. I also saw a Berry flavored option but did not buy it. These are the first drink packets that I have seen with Truvia. Very Good! The flavors help me get all my water servings in!
I find a lot of days I am HUNGRY in the afternoon about the time I start thinking about what to fix for dinner. I make a "smoothie" with Kroger lo carb yogurt and Hood Calorie Countdown Dairy Beverage. The combined proteins really takes the edge off my hunger and the volume fills me up. Hood makes a chocolate and plain version. I love the chocolate with vanilla yogurt and yesterday I made the plain with strawberry colada yogurt...delicous! ENJOY!
I love chocolate! Sometimes I have a hard time stopping when I start when it comes to eating chocolate. I buy a bag of Ghirardelli 60% bittersweet chocolate chips and divide them up. A serving is 16 chips..not too many, but I let each one melt on my tongue and savour the flavor. I put them into snack bags and keep them in the freezer. I usually enjoy a bag a day! After all, dark chocolate is good for your heart!
I have a little jar of activities I keep in my kitchen. So when I am tempted to snack on something that is not healthy or out of my calorie range....I pull out an activity. EX. Walk the dog, Brush your teeth, walk around the block, read a book, drink a glass of water, etc. So after I do the activity I usually do not still want the unhealthy snack...and if I still do..then I eat it!
If you are tempted to snack a lot after dinner and you have already consumed your daily calories...brush your teeth! Then you can drink water but food won't taste as good and you won't be as tempted to continue eating!
As you lose weight and your clothes become too big for you....donate them! Get rid of them! If you have a bigger wardrobe still in the back of your closet it makes it easier to put weight back on and lose track of how much weight you have gained!
