Enjoy a Hobby that Uses Your Hands to Prevent Eating

I learned to knit and crochet and am slowly making some nice things. An added benefit is that while I am working on my hobby, my hands are too busy to feed my face.

Easy Oatmeal

Pour boiling water over old fashioned oats and let it sit a bit. When you come back to it, it will be cooked, If you add some raisins or dried cranberries with a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg before adding the water, it's especially tasty!

Display Measuring Cups

I display some nice looking measuring cups in my most frequently used food prep area. They are easy to grab and measure and even when I don't, they give a visual reminder of portion sizes.
