Most people have an idea of the things they normally purchase. If you are online, there are websites that allow you to print manufacturer's coupons. Select coupons for the things you will use or need. (They are usually good for about 2 months). You will be surprised at some of the deals you can get.
Remember that cleaning house and working outdoors is exercise. Time your intervals & wear a pedometer to get your mileage in (since you probably won't get in much other exercise that day). You will be surprised how it all adds up.
When you are sick, and too weak to exercise, don't let that get you off track. Journalise your food, and post on the message boards. Earn as many Sparks points as you can. Then you will stay motivated, and be ready to go back to your normal schedule when you get well.
