Use the Sparkpeople App for iPhone, iPod, etc.

This is a perfect tool to keep track of your food, water, fitness, etc. I can add in what I'm eating, before I put one bite in my mouth, my workout after I'm finished, each ounce of H20 downed, etc. It keeps me from missing a beat :)

Always have 'safe' snacks in the car

I really, really dislike being hungry. I lose focus on whatever I'm doing until my tummy is satisfied again. To stave off getting too hungry, I always be sure to carry healthy snacks with me.

Work Out Buddy

I never realized how much more I enjoy working out when I do it with someone I really like. My daughter and I have been doing the Insanity workouts together for a month now. She hasn't been home this week so I've been on my own. Not nearly as motivating on my own.

Quick Exercises Add Up!

Every time I go to the kitchen at work for food (5x a day) I add quick exercises.
15 Wall Pushups
15 Closed Arm Wall Pushups
20 Calf Raises from a step

I've noticed that I can do more regular pushups since I started my quick exercises throughout my work day.

Pet Friendly Workout

Some days when I don't feel like working out I look at my dog and see her bursting with energy. Taking her to the park, walking or running with her ends up being play time for her and excercise time for me! She usually pushes me too!

Workout in the morning

Get up an hour early and get moving. You can go to the gym or go for a run...whatever suits you. Try to prep anything you need the night before (pack your gym bag, organize the clothes you're wearing the following day, put out a quick morning snack).
