I joined Weight Watchers over two years ago. I lost 90% of my weight through them and still practice many of their ideas. One I truly love is the Three Bite Rule. When we crave something the first bite is really memorable. The second bite is almost as memorable as the first. The last bite savory and sums up the memory. Therefore all we need are three bites. Not diet is ever broken over three bites.
Many times we are eager to punish ourselves when we think we have failed. I have learned over the years we need to reward ourselves for our accomplishments and punish ourselves less. We all fail. The trick is to get back up and continue to try. And to reward our successes!
