I admit that for most of my life I have been a "willy-nilly" shopper. Whatever struck my fancy at any given moment in the grocery store went into my basket or cart. That has started to change gradually as now I choose carefully what I really want to eat that will benefit me in a positive way.
I have stopped doing any kind of exercise that bores me to tears. Curves wasn't my cup of tea and neither was Jazzercise and most strength training was a total snooze.
Just remember YOU are worth the changes you're making daily to the "old you to the new you". It is an act of love, respect, and kindness to keep at it even when you haven't done everything perfect that day!
No matter what your final results are everyday in your overall goals tracking, keep doing it! I almost stopped myself about 10 days ago because I didn't keep up with my aily goals tracking over Memorial Day weekend. I am so glad I did some positive affirmations instead, then did it anyway!
I almost derailed myself until I turned and told my "PERFECT WOMAN" to take a hike and don't ever come back into my life again!
I always talked about changing my weight yet it didn't start to change until I made a commitment to myself to be consistent with charting my daily goals. Spark People made this possible!
