Think 3 things when choosing what to eat: Low fat, High fiber, Low sugar. If you stick with foods in those categories in reasonable portions and exercise consistently, you'll have no trouble maintaining your weight.

I'm sure now everyone has heard about gum chewing for weight loss. I have found that eating it after I eat my meal, that it keeps me from going back for seconds or thirds if I'm not really hungry. Just the act of chewing seems to keep me satisfied.

When I get food from a fast food restaurant I get children sizes versus adults. It has less calories, still fills you up AND is cheaper. Why get full on more calories and more money when less does the same job?

i have been cutting up peaches and bananas into bite size chunks and freezing them on a cookie tray so they stay individual, also grapes and cherries. When put into plastic containers or small ziplock bags they stay apart allowing you to take out however many pieces of a fruit you want... to snack on (allows for easy tracking), for quick access and is great for smoothies and when blended with a little cottage cheese or yogourt, tastes just like icecream/sherbet.
