For some this may be hard to believe.......... I start my day by praying/speaking to God. As I spend time with Him he fills me with joy & peace that's over the top. He fills me with His supernatural power the Holy Spirit. I can achieve my goals. His mercy is new every morning.
Love Chinese Food? In a hurry and doing take out? You still can but choose healthy alternatives. Instead of the Sweet & Sours or fried rice's, choose the chicken, stir-fried and steamed rice's.
I don't get "paid" to volunteer but I get quite a few "perks".
I get a "free" lunch (yes I know-no such thing as a "free lunch") when I volunteer at the hospital. I received a membership to the historical society because I volunteer there. Plus there's the volunteer recognition lunches, etc. each...
I like to leave on my plate a little of everything I put on my it. I tend to take to much and it can really add up at the end of the week. It gotten me better at not over eating when I'm out to eat too!
Putting my flour, sugar, brown sugar, pasta, rice, flax and bran in clear containers clears up space on my shelves. It's easier to stack Tupperware than it is to stack individual odd sized bags and boxes.
