Looking back and seeing accomplishments

Sometimes it is hard to keep up motivation, and sometimes you start to think that you haven't done that much good. So what I've done is put a small desktop calendar near my computer and everyday that I believe I've done a better job of making healthier choices than in the past I put a star. That way, if I start to feel down that the scale is not moving or just not believing in myself I can look at my calendar and see all the stars that account for the days where I made healthy choices.

Exercise at Work

If you work in an office with multiple floors choose to go to the bathroom on a lower floor and take the stairs. The extra steps will keep you moving a little longer so you'll also get a burst of energy.

Water Intake (at home)

I purchased several 24 oz water bottles (plastic ones at Walmart for $1.00) and keep them filled with water in the fridge. So whenever I need water I just grab a bottle and I know that it is 3 glasses. I carried it around the house with me always.

Water Bottle

Everytime I go to the bathroom at work I take my water bottle along and make sure to fill it up at the water fountain to make sure I'm getting my water everyday.
