I did NOT buy the foot scrubber AS SEEN ON TV ...BUT I found something similar at Bed, Bath and Beyond made by Earth Therapeutics and I LOVE it! It suction cups onto the shower floor and gives your feet a great massage. I squirt a bit of scented body wash on it and pamper my feet!
I love books, I inhale books...I have boxes and boxes of books. One day it dawned on me that I can read all the books I want for free! And I don't need to find a place to store them after I have finished.
As soon as I open a bill...I go right to the computer and pay it. Even if there's not a bunch of money in checking, I still pay it. I pay my bills online and can decide which day I want the payment to actually be deducted from my checking. If I let the bills pile up and try and pay them all at once it's overwhelming and I feel out of control. I am also less likely to overspend if it "looks" like I have "extra" money. I also check my balance everyday so i know exactly where I stand.
I have worked in the grocery business for 21 years and have found that the healthiest looking people shop mostly the perishable departments. Steer clear of the aisles where the overprocessed foods lurk unhealthily. Stick with fresh produce, meat and seafood, ice-cold dairy products and even the freshly baked artisan breads in the bakery. Of course the old-fashioned oatmeal and a few yummy nut butters reside in the aisles but don't let their redneck cousins, the poptarts and sugary cereals tempt.
I have a drawer set aside in the fridge for my lunch choices. I pack my lunch 5 days a week and I don't like to spend a lot of time making up lunches. The drawer is filled with little one serving goodies of each of the food groups. I have yogurt, cottage cheese, babybel cheese and laughing cow wedges. I have baby carrots, celery sticks, bell pepper slices, apple slices and clementines. There are single servings of hummus, crackers, pretzels and tortillas folded into baggies.
