buying big items

just a word of advice, when buying any big item, tv, phone etc, make sure to check it first, not so much to see if it works, but to make sure its in one piece, or the right pieces, i bought a tv at wm last night and got home, started to cut open the box and realized something was wrong, opened it, and it was busted all to pieces, and whoever had done this, had left their screwdriver behind
so i spent the day running back to the wm and replacing it.
i kept the screwdriver!!

pay it off

i have been paying on a student loan, and had been deferred for medical reasons for quite awhile, recently i decided just to jump in and start paying it, and i have been keeping a money log of all the unnecessary spending, so far from 2/24, i have spent nearly 300 on eating out, renting movies, coffee, newspapers and other needless items
so next month, i am paying the equivilent of what i spent needlessly on my loan!!!

eyeglasses

do not scrimp on eyeglasses, i got my last pair at walmart eye center, and i regret it, the frames are ok, but after only 7 months i am having to have my lense replaced on one side, because it is scratched, i paid 290 for the glasses.
thinking i was saving money, but now i am having to shell out another 80 dollars to replace them, so, go to a place that offers better quality, and better warranty, or else, you end up spending more money in the end.

help with setting a pedometer

i recently bought a new pedometer and i cant set it!
i have followed the instructions to a t---- yet here i am, still unable to use it properly.
if anyone knows what i am doing wrong, please let me know.
it is a sportline 15 function pedometer from walmart.
