Do you realize if you put $2.00 a day in a non-see through container, one year from the start date, you will have $730.00??? This is something I am starting, and will stick to~celebrating in one year, that I will have more than a bit to fall back on, rather than holding my breath when truly in need of paying a few bills, or possibly in the position of having to cross items off of a grocery list, just because "the funds aren't enough." Being in this position now, has created some soul searching!
Preparing at least 4~ 33.8 oz. bottles of water before going to bed, preparing for kidney flush the next day. A light breakfast high in fiber & Protein, is always a great start. If my Mom is in the plans of the day, nerve meds taken a bit early are truly to my advantage. These few things are not only my nutrition plans, but also remind me, that at the age of 40, I have every right, to slide aside HER TO DO LIST FOR ME, knowing in the back of my mind, she truly needs HELP & TACT, with family. :o(
This evening I've been on a motivation mission, seeking out success stories, reality moments from those who have shared their BATTLE GLORIES, with photos attached~backing their mighty success. What began as a sparkler in my hand, has become a roman candle ready for mighty colors to launch. My thanks are HEART FELT TO ALL OF THOSE WHO HAVE FILLED MY HEART SO BIG~ ! This was the first day I wasnt able to walk at all. The physical pain was great & heart ache~OUCH
That once upon a time regular routine, that was SUCCESSFUL, slipped away. TIME TO MAKE THE CHANGE! FOR MYSELF, this is going to involve starting my day with at least 32 oz of water, 2-3 cups of coffee, & a PROTEIN DRINK. Lunch will be light but healthy: example 2-3 eggs, another protein drink, and steamed veggies. Afternoon snack: possibly a rice cake or two with polinar all fruit jelly, & supper another protein drink, with home made veggie stew.
Any loose pocket change, less the lint, goes into two gallon pickle jugs, and two LARGE Maxwell House coffee jugs throughout or at the end of each day. When all are full I haul them to the bank. Bingo!!! I suddenly have over $250 either to save, or add to for other bill, as the jar filling process begins again.
Starting my day with 44 oz. of cold water, 2-3 cups of coffee, veggies, and a protein drink~ahhhhh yes & Sunshine on our wrap around victorian porch truly is the most precious way to start my day. God is included there~with the beauty of another beautiful morning~with silent talks with God~prayers of "Thanks~always." 4 months post accidental sleep walking fall that has truly altered my life~long term has not affected my smile, positive thoughts, or set me back with healthy eating CELEBRATIONS!!
Since June 11th after having taken a sleep walking tumble while sleep walking, I haven't given up on weightloss. No how no way. I am still eating healthy(clean), consuming mass amounts of water, steaming loads of veggies as it's still difficult to swallow, and getting most of my protein through protein drinks. No exercise right now other than physical therapy three times a week, but hey that's exercise too!!! Anything counts~as long as one has a positive mindset~God knows, carrying us with love.
Two months ago I had a sleep walking "adventure" that has become a health challenge to overcome. I am still faithful to my nutrition program everyday! Physical Therapy is starting soon, and I will see that AS MY EXERCISE~ YEAH! Also speech therapy~as a result of head trauma. Being positive is GREAT!
Packing along with me my Romaine Lettuce is always a chosen MUST, as well as my homemade salad dressing. I just add it to the iceburg lettuce they provide when eating out, and they never scowl. Move vitamins= better health. :o)
