I don't especially like to exercise, so I put out my exercise clothes the night before, and when i get up, and see them there, I'm more likely to put them on (if I don't, they make me feel guilty! LOL!!) and just get started. Once I'm started, I fell good about the fact that I'm doing something good for me and usually do 30-45 minutes of cardio and then some strength training! If I'm really short of time, I just do 10-15 minutes, but at least I've done something!
Great low-cal healthy and satisfying snack! Slice an apple into very thin slices (about 24). Cut one slice of American cheese (low fat, if you wish) into 24 small pieces. Put one little piece on each slice of apple. Good munching that will take long enough to eat that you feel satisfied!! Try it and enjoy!
Ground flaxseed and cinnamon will help lower your blood sugar and your triglycerides. Try a daily breakfast shake with oatmeal, flaxseed, cinnamon, fruit (banana, apple, papaya, whatever) , water and skim milk in the blender. Tastes good and will definitely lower your numbers!
