I read the blogs almost every day. I try and send a note of encouragement to at least one blogger and this makes me feel good.
I buy turnip cut up like french fries and stir fry or bake them. When they are done to desired texture I add a little seasoning, vinegar or ketchup. I feel like I am cheating and this replaces calorie laden fries for me and helps me get my veggies in for the day.
I try to keep sugar free no cal jello on hand for the evening or when I just have to have something sweet. It comes in fruit flavorings. It is also filling and you can have more than one if you want.
I weigh and meaure my food because it's too easy for me to get off track otherwise. If I judge by eye I sometimes go under which means I'm not getting enough.
