When offered food that I'd prefer not to eat, I tell myself that it's dog food and it's easier to say, "no thanks".
I have to work harder than I sometimes want or think I need. I play games in my head to get me to push a little harder or go a little further. One is Jillian Michaels yelling at me...you can do it!
As I age, I clearly don't know how much to eat to stay within a healthy weight. Tracking my food keeps me accountable. With so many people overweight, we're just stupid in our portions and calorie intake. Tracking gives me a frame of reference. It keeps me on course.
