Work smart not hard!
I have a list of songs that I listen to when I'm feeling down. I little movin and groovin always seems to put a smile on my face. ( And yes singing into the hairbrush is ok)
Starting a challenge is easy, finishing it is the hard part! Stick with it and don't give up!
Friends can be your best motivation so keep them involved. Tell them your progress or throw a fitness party to show them you are serious! Good Luck.
Even if you don't feel like doing a sweat inducing workout, do something. Walk to the mailbox, do 10 pushups, just something. Usually, do just that much motivate you do just a little bit more.
I've learned that if you make a schedule, life happens and your schedule falls of its course. Instead of telling yourself you'll start Monday or tomorrow. Start now!!! Even if it's getting up and walking from room to room in your house just once. It's better than nothing!
A clean and organized home makes a less stressful home life.
When I feel down I tend to watch 1 of my 3 favorite movies of all time. Remember the Titans, Lean on Me, or The Sandlot. Each one always leaves me feeling good and ready to go to the next task!
When I was younger I used to get so overwhelmed when my mom told me to clean my room. One day my mom told me to start at the door of my room, pick up the closest thing then put it away. I was having so much fun deciding what was closest I didn't realize that my room was clean. I still use this.
